Since Tom’s debut race, which he won, Tom has always been highly competitive in whatever car or championship he has driven in. This was beautifully demonstrated when Tom competed in his first ever single seater race at the Formula Palmer Audi shootout in 2008. Driving against experienced young single seater stars, such as Formula Two winner Tobias Hegewald and A1 GP driver Niall Quinn, Tom was the only driver to record three top 8 finishes. Tom was born into a keen motor sporting family. His father competed in both bikes and cars, as did Tom. Tom began riding motorcycle Trials in 2000. During Tom’s time biking until 2006 he won both youth and adult East Anglian Trials championships. Since Tom’s inevitable move to car racing the standard of cars and championships he has competed in has increased to professional levels and he has picked up many victories along the way. |
